Kids were first discovered in 1952 by Dr. David Kid in a small village in Mozambique. Since then, kids have flourished and can be found now in most households around the world.

Many people ask us where the name ooMoo comes from. We used to say ‘it’s none of your business’, but we found that this only created more speculation. So we decided to come up with an official answer:

ooMoo is made up of two words. oo and Moo. When you glue them together they make ooMoo. oo as in ‘oo you have kids’, and Moo as in ‘you’d better feed them’.

Actually we just made that bit up as we need to fill some space on the page.

ooMoo (really truly) is an Aboriginal word meaning 'good, nice or pleasant to the eye'.

It is also quite easy to spell as it only has two different letters.
